Recovery of the MTB Tour of Formentera for the last weekend of October

A chance to combine nature and outdoor tourism in Formentera is the organization of the First Round Formentera mountain biking, which takes place from October 29 to November 1.
This has been presented at a press conference by the consoler of Tourism in Formentera, Josep Mayans, Cristóbal Sánchez Muñoz, national mountain bike coach, who recently got the gold medal in world competition in the Elite Men category with the athlete José Antonio Hermida, Miguel Ramón Tur, delegate of the Cycling Federation of the Balearic Islands, Cardier Thomas Martin, director general of the Tour of Formentera in MTB and Bartholomé Planells Saez, race director of the Tour of Formentera in MTB.
The topography of Formentera presents ideal conditions for the development of a cyclist running in an unique natural environment. This first edition is divided into three stages, making a tour to the island from Sant Francesc Portossalè in the first stage, from es Pujols to la Mola for the second and a circular route around s'Estany des Peix  in the last stage.
Participants in the tour can enjoy activities such as a talk called "The bike, present and future", a tour at ses Illetes to see the sunset or a farewell toast, among others. Also, free time will be able to practice different sports and leisure activities such as diving, water skiing, parasailing and kite surfing.
Everyone who is interested in participating in this race can hire promotional packages with everything included. The tour will have a maximum of 350 participants this year and until today have already confirmed their attendance one hundred people.
The organizing company is conducting a full statewide promotional campaign to create a benchmark for this sport on the island. Also, the return will have extensive safety and security mechanism, with emergency services and a safety on the roads. A total of 50 persons shall ensure that develops around safely.
I mountain bike back to Formentera has a budget of 30 thousand euros funded by the tourist promotion agreement of the Consell of Formentera with the Balearic Tourism Agency.
