The Beni Trutmann contest was conceived as a tribute to the Swizz photographer whose Formentera legacy spans 44 years and more than thirty thousand photographs that showcase Trutmann's love for the island and its natural spaces. Contestants submit photos in a variety of categories involving the local outdoors—landscapes, animals, plants and human interaction—part of an effort to turn the focus on protecting the environment.
