Consell de Formentera creates free parking spaces on Es Pujols ring road

The Formentera Department of mobility and Department of Island Services have unveiled free streetside parking spots along the Es Pujols ring road as a short-term fix pending creation of cost-free  overflow parking. Construction of the new overflow lot is currently underway on several public parcels recently handed over to the Consell de Formentera.

The temporary parking spaces have been marked to advise motorists they can be used at no cost and without a pass. Parking metres have likewise been deactivated in the area.

In Es Pujols, hours of enforcement for blue zone metred parking have been shortened from 10.00am-midnight to 9.00am-9.00pm. Motorists can park there at night at no cost.
