Special car park available market days in La Mola

Starting this week on Wednesdays and Sundays – the two days a week when La Mola's artisanal market kicks into action – the Formentera Council will make an additional car park available at the entry to town.

The new lot is located on Àngela Ferrer Street (Carrer d'Àngela Ferrer) at its intersection with Sa Talaiassa Street (Carrer de sa Talaiassa), has capacity for two hundred vehicles and will be operative for the remainder of the market's summer run.

The car park was conceived with two main objectives in mind: making market visits easier for those individuals who wouldn't often otherwise go to La Mola, and avoiding the effective collapses in traffic flow so often witnessed on the adjacent streets in the town of El Pilar de la Mola.
