Office of tourism plans informational session re: tourist-use rental regulations

estancies turistiquesThe Council of Formentera, by way of the local office of tourism, trade and transport, has organised for an informational session to take place in order to explain the ins and outs of the new regulations concerning homes rented out to tourists. The event will take place this coming Wednesday, 22 April, at 10:30am, in the multipurpose room of the old high school.

Dividing the event into two parts, organisers will first tackle the basic characteristics of the guidelines on tourist-use dwellings, ratified this month through a definitive and unanimous vote by council members.

In the second part of the informational session, Mr Vicente Arbona, administrator of the Eivissa-Formentera Agència Tributària (tax office) will speak about the tax code applied to homes registered for tourist rental. The informational session is open to anyone interested in attending.
