Formentera cab fares climb 6.3%

The Ministry of Mobility of the Balearic Government has approved a 6.3% rise in cab fares on Formentera. Last April, at the request of the Formentera Taxi Association and backed by an associated economic study, members of the Consell de Formentera plenary unanimously approved a proposal to raise cab fares by 12.89%. The previous fare hike took place in 2019. The Ministry of Mobility, to which the proposal was submitted for endorsement, revised the increase to 6.3%.
