Javier Colomo explains his humanitarian project to Formentera crowds

This Friday 12 June at 8:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room located next to the library in the office of culture, Javier Colomo Arenaza of the non-profit Amigosolidarios will lead a conference explaining the organisation's current work in Uganda.

The Formentera Council assists Amigosolidarios by donating a portion of the funds raised by the Formentera half marathon, money that in turn goes toward the construction of a primary school for 350 children in Bugajali. Beyond just explaining the humanitarian work of his group, Javier Colomo will bring to Formentera an invaluable first-hand perspective of the realities of life in Uganda.
