Local residents can request reduced fare cards for Palma buses at OAC/OVAC

The Formentera Council's mobility department wishes to that islanders can now request a card for reduced fare on buses in Palma de Mallorca.

The card entitles Formentera residents to the same discounted fare as their neighbours in Palma when riding the bus lines linking the airport and port with the city centre. Travelling from Palma to the airport will go from costing five euros to one, while riders who get on in Palma and get off at the port will pay €0.80 instead of €1.50.

Formentera residents currently attending university or following technical studies on Mallorca will be able to enjoy the same reduced fare as their counterparts in Palma.

Requests for the reduced fare card can be processed in person at the Citizen Information Office (OAC) or online on the OVAC. The card must be picked up in person at the OAC.
