Natural art of Laura Larocca arrives at Centre Antoni Tur "Gabrielet"

Artist Laura Larocca opens on Friday 22 October at Centre Antoni Tur 'Gabrielet' with her first solo show, "Hallazgo Natural". An Argentine living on the island for the last two years, Larocca shares her paintings, wall sculptures and installations created with lifeless sea sponges she handpicks from the beaches of Formentera with permission from the Balearic Ministry of Environment and Territory. Zeroing in on a single detail of the landscape, Larocca creates sensory experiences, highlights textures and aromas, and invites us to imagine their sounds.

"Hallazgo Natural" is on view from 11.00am to 2.00pm and 6.00pm to 9.00pm until 31 October.
