Formentera School of Music and Dance celebrates Carnival

Yesterday afternoon, about sixty students of the Formentera School of Music and Dance celebrated Carnival in the Sala de Cultura (Cinema). The students performed a musical and theatrical show where the costumes themselves held distinctly outsize roles.

Alejandra Ferrer, vice president and education councillor, described the performance as "top notch", saying, "Families and the entire crowd were delighted, and the building was at capacity."

Performances were delivered by the school's percussion group, the children's band and choir, and students of piano, guitar, brass wind and traditional music. In addition, the dancers also performed various choreographies.
