Last weekend the Polyphonic Choir of Formentera travelled to Eivissa for a "weekend of brotherhood" with the Es Cubells Choir, offering two concerts: Saturday at Es Cubells church and Sunday at Can Jeroni Cultural Centre in Sant Josep. Both events were part of celebrations for the feast day of Saint Joseph.

Under the direction of Irantzu Bartolomé, the Polyphonic Choir of Formentera performed works by Franz Schubert, John Rutter, Tomas Luis de Victoria, Mozart and Cesar Frank, accompanied by pianist Helena Lafuente. Meanwhile, the Es Cubells Choir performed popular works like Sa Serena Cau Menuda, Com voleu germans que canti, My Lord, What a Morning, Fa La Kan Bo Ba and more. The concert ended with a joint performance of Handel's Canticorum Jubilo.
